A Basket of Beanies

There are so many amazing groups of people all trying to make life a little easier for others. It's easy to forget this when you are bombarded daily with images of chaos and destruction.

It was my absolute pleasure to hand over 14 crocheted beanies to the Joseph Jersey Project last week.

The Joseph Jersey Project was founded in 2015 and aims to provide a unique and colourful jersey to children in need.

Donors are encouraged to join wool with a substantial knot that is pushed to the outside of the jersey, as a visual representation of the love that is knitted into each and every garment.

We always have to test drive the beanies for warmth and snuggliness!

Luckily these can be done in a couple of hours, so there is another batch being made right now.

Unfortunately, it just doesn't seem likely that we'll ever run out of children to help with this project.
